Enjoy the experience of a leisurely guided trail ride along the base of the beautiful Massanutten Mountains.
All of our horses are trail-wise and gentle, so even if you’ve never sat astride a horse, you will feel completely at ease. Our knowledgeable and experienced trail guides will match the horse and the rider and give everyone riding instructions before and during the ride.
- One-hour trail ride around the base of Massanutten Mountain.
- Open year-round, seven days a week. Weather permitting.
- Suitable for beginner level riders 10 years old & above.
- Trail rides are by reservation only.
- During the busy season, trail rides can be fully booked several days in advance.
Requirements
- Minimum height 4’8” (56 inches).
- Maximum weight 220 pounds, all riders will be weighed upon arrival.
Those who exceed the weight limit or do not meet the height requirement upon arrival, ONLY that individual can receive a 50% refund; no refunds will be issued for additional group members who choose to stay back with the disqualified guest. - Sturdy footwear required, no sandals or clogs are permitted.
- Alcoholic beverages or smoking is not permitted on the stables property or trails.
- Each participant will be required to sign a liability release form.
- Helmets are provided and are mandatory for ALL riders.
- Cancellation and modifications can be made, as availability allows, without penalty up to 24 hours in advance.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the activity date and time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the itinerary total. No refunds will be given for no show tickets.
- In the event of inclement weather, you will be contacted to reschedule your session. Inclement weather may include persistent rain, thunderstorms (occurring or imminent), hail, high wind, wintry precipitation, extreme heat or cold, and slippery/unsafe trail conditions.
