Massanutten's License-To-Slide Program offers the best valued seasonal package for skiers and snowboarders of every ability. This package can be purchased with or without lessons. For first-timers through expert levels looking for coaching, enjoy four 90-minute group lessons conveniently held the same day, same time, each week. After your lessons are completed, you'll have two more slope-use tickets to be used for any night session.
For those looking for an affordable way to enjoy the slopes with a variety of session and day options, we offer this program as a package without lessons. For as little as $108, you can receive six slope-use tickets to be used any night session, beginning Monday, January 11, 2010.
All License-To-Slide participants receive bonuses, including one additional slope-use ticket, one free snow tubing ticket and a discount on one purchase at The General Store.

Boy Scout Merit Badge Program
New this season, this program is instituted by the Massanutten Learning Center to allow the Boy Scouts of America to obtain their snow sports merit badge.
This course is rigorous and may pose problematic for students having never participated in the snow sport of their choosing. The students are expected to know and understand the criteria of the course given to their scout leaders/parents prior to the initiation of the course. This will help the students to appreciate the snow sport and hopefully initiate the learning process for that student; moving from in-class exercises to on-snow instruction and coaching by the Massanutten Learning Center's staff.
This is a four-week course that is one day a week for the allotted time. The course will consist of a pass/fail grading schematic concluding the last day of the program. The instructor will decide if the student has obtained the knowledge and skills necessary to earn the merit badge. Cost is $126 for slope-use ticket and lesson, and an additional $12 for rentals.
