Snow Tubing is closed until Winter 2015-16. Thanks for a great year!
Our Winter season generally starts in early/mid December, but depends on weather each year. Our snow makers require consistent periods below 32 degrees to make snow.
Nearly everyone can enjoy sliding on snow at the Family Adventure Park. Virginia's first Snow Tubing Park opened in 1998 and has a 900 foot long hill, named "Best Snow Tubing" by Washingtonian Magazine in January 2014!
Snow Tubing at the Family Adventure Park is very popular and often sells out sessions in advance. Tickets can only be purchased in person at the Family Adventure Park.
Gold Card Holders and Resort Guests staying on the mountain may buy tickets one day in advance after 2 pm, in person at the Family Adventure Park. Therefore, busy days may be sold out the day before.
General Public | Call 540-289-4954 for information on available tickets. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 8:30 am each day, in person at the Family Adventure Park. Maximum number of tickets sold to an individual is 8.

Restrictions | Children must be at least 36 inches tall to tube. One person, one tube, no exceptions. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Each participant must be seated in the tube at all times. Tubing on your stomach or any other position is strictly prohibited and will result in expulsion from the Tubing Park.
Tubing Tips | Temperature, wind, and precipitation affect the speed of snow tubing. Younger and/or more timid tubers may prefer our mid-day session when track conditions are more moderate.
Please Know | Snowmaking may be in progress as temperatures permit. Hard shell or ski boots are not permitted in the Tube Park. Weather and track conditions permitting, we allow "chaining" of tubes at our discretion.
Group Information | Group Reservations available for 15 or more, please call 540-289-4954 in advance.
