For the 2020-21 winter season, we will NOT offer group lessons. All lesson reservations will be for private or semi-private lessons where only guests who are part of same family or traveling party can take lessons together. The lesson programs below are currently not available for the 2020-21 season.
Beginner Package | Ages 7 - Adult
The Beginner Package is designed with a beginner skier or snowboarder in mind. Participants will progress through a 1.5 hour group lesson on our easiest terrain. This lesson focuses on the basics of how to turn, stop, and use the lifts safely. This package is ideal for adults and children. Minimum age of 7.

Need a refresher course? This 2 hour group lesson will help you broaden your skill base and gain confidence on the slopes. This lesson is tailored to those who can easily negotiate intermediate terrain, but would like to improve ability and technique. This package is ideal for adults and children. Minimum age of 7.

Mountain Cruisers | Ages 4 - 12 Skiing & Ages 7 - 12 Snowboarding
Massanutten offers an exciting youth instructional program ranging from beginner to advanced levels of skiing (ages 4-12) and snowboarding for kids (ages 7-12). Proof of age may be required.

Package Includes | 8-Hour Slope-Use Ticket, Equipment & Helmet Rental, lunch, and supervised instruction (9:30 am to 2 pm).
Reservations | Mountain Cruisers participants will be grouped by age and ability level. Please use the color system below to select the appropriate class for your child when making reservations. A credit card is required to make a reservation and will be charged at the time of reservation. Choosing the correct skill level for your child's reservation is essential. If you are unsure of the correct class or don't see it available, please call the Mountain Cruisers desk so we can assist you.

Mini Riders | Ages 4 -6 Snowboarding
Massanutten's beginner youth program for snowboarders ages 4 - 6! The goal is to help young sliders learn to enjoy the sport. Mini Riders will explore movements on and off the snow to help develop the balance and coordination necessary for independent sliding.
