Trail Use & Access

  • Open Daily Jan – Nov 1 | Open Sundays only, Nov 4 – Jan 3, 2026, due to hunting season.  
  • The general public may purchase a Trail Use Pass through SVBC through the links below.
  • Day Pass
  • Annual Pass
  • Current resort guests, owners, employees, MPOA, and their accompanied guests may access the Western Slope without a Trail Use Pass.
  • Massanutten Unlimited Season Passholder (no guest privileges). 

Trail Rules

  • Leave ‘Nutten Behind! – Pack out ALL trash.
  • All dogs must be on a leash and owners must pack out their dog’s waste.
  • Horses are not permitted on the Western Slope.
  • Please close all gates.
  • No open fires (unless authorized by Resort Security Office).
  • Persons on Massanutten property without proper permits or valid ID is trespassing.

Permits and identification must be carried on person at all times and must be presented if requested by Great Eastern Resort Management/Resort Security/Property Agent, local law enforcement, or a representative. Persons without proper permits and identification will be asked to leave the property and could be charged with trespassing. Access is at the discretion of Great Eastern Resort Management and may be restricted, withheld, or terminated at any time without notice.
