COVID-19 Policies

COVID-19 Policies

The General Store enters Phase III of Virginia’s Safer at Home plan on July 1, with our focus on providing a safe environment for our owners, guests, and employees. We are regularly cleaning high contact areas around the General Store including sanitizing doors, phones, and counters.

Additional precautions include the following:

  • The General Store is limited to no more than 75 patrons at one time.
  • Face Masks are required inside the General Store by both employees and guests as put forth by Governor Northam in Executive Order #63.
  • The point of sale counter and equipment cleaned and disinfected every hour.
  • Disinfecting wipes and/or hand sanitizer are available at the entrance for guest use.
  • Public restroom closed until further notice.
  • All fishing rental equipment, poles, tackle boxes and tools disinfected after each use.
  • Physical distance markers of 6ft indicated at the point of sale counters.
  • Indoor seating no longer available at The Lift. Deck seating is available while maintaining 6ft distancing requirements.

We encourage you to support these safe practices as we try to do our part to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus.
