The Massanutten Bike Park delivers lift-served access to some of the Shenandoah Valley’s most exciting downhill terrain, from smooth beginner-friendly runs to technical descents built for experienced riders. The Bike Park Experience

The Shenandoah Valley is known for its mountain biking, and Massanutten's lift-served Bike Park brings it all within reach, without the climb. Load the lift, drop in, and ride. Whether it's your first time on a downhill trail or you're chasing your next descent, the Bike Park has terrain for your level.

New to mountain biking or ready to take your technique further? Instructors at Massanutten Bike Park offer lessons for first-timers and experienced riders alike, with options designed to build confidence, sharpen skills and help you get more out of every run.

Perfect for riders new to lift-served mountain biking, this half-day group lesson starts with learning basic bike controls, braking, stability and balance before heading up Creekside Lift to put those skills to work on the Low Side trails. The $99 package includes two hours of instruction, one hour of free riding, a three-hour Low Side trail ticket, standard mountain bike rental, bike insurance, full-face helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. Sessions are offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Bike Shop offers bike rentals, protective equipment, and on-the-spot repair services for minor mechanical issues to keep you on the trail. Stop in before your first run or whenever you need a quick fix.

The Bike Park features beginner-friendly flow trails alongside more advanced terrain, making it accessible to new riders while still challenging experienced ones. Riders looking to stay on the beginner and progression-focused lower mountain trails can choose a Low Side ticket, while full-access passes open up both the more challenging High Side and Low Side trails. Bike rentals and equipment are available on site, and the Bike Shop team can help with questions before you head out.
