Adult Beginner Group Lessons

Ages 13+

This Beginner Only Package is designed with a beginner skier or snowboarder in mind. Participants will progress through a 2 hour group lesson on our easiest terrain. This lesson focuses on the basics of how to turn, stop, and use the lifts safely.

Package includes 4-Hour slope use Tickets, Equipment Rentals, and a 2 hour lesson. Please Plan Ahead: It is very important that you arrive 60 minutes in advance of your lesson and check-in at the ski school desk.

Required Lesson Waiver

All guests will be required to complete a waiver prior to their lesson. Each guest aged 18 and older must complete their own waiver. Minors under age 18 will need to have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Click here.

Location & Arrival

Location: Massanutten Learning Center @ 4620 Massanutten Drive

Park in tiered parking lots. Check into the Learning Center at least 60 minutes prior to the lesson start time. Allow extra time to find parking.

Lesson Time & Length

Lesson Times: 9 am, 11:30 am, 2 pm & *5 pm. *5 pm lesson is based on availability and not available to book online (walk up only). Not available Sunday - Thursday.

The length for this lesson is 2 hours.

Slope-Use Ticket

The package includes a 4-hour slope-use ticket. These will be given at lesson check-in. A slope-use ticket is required.

Rentals

After check-in at the Learning Center you will be directed to the rental shop. A full ski or snowboard rental set is included for the length of your package. This includes skis or a snowboard with bindings, boots and a helmet. Rentals do not include jackets, snow pants, goggles, or gloves. Please come dressed for your lesson.

Save time & pick-up your rental equipment for the next day from 6 - 8 pm on Friday - Monday and holidays or 2 - 4 pm on Tuesday - Thursday.

Cancellation Policy

Snow sports lessons may be cancelled or modified, as availability allows, up to 24 hours in advance of the lesson. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours of the lesson time will only receive a 50% refund for cancelled lessons. Submit a cancellation request here.

No refunds will be given for requests made after the start of the lesson. If you are late for your lesson and the lesson needs to be moved to a different time, a fee of $25 will be applied.

Ability

This lesson is for first timers and beginners. If you choose to join this lesson and have experience, our instructors will be teaching to the least experienced.
