We are members of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI).

Pathway Program

The Pathway Program is designed with a beginner skier or snowboarder in mind. Participants in the Pathway program will progress through two one-hour group lessons on our easiest terrain. These lessons focus on the basics of how to turn, stop, and use the lifts safely. This program is ideal for adults and children. Minimum age of 7.

Lesson Times: 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm** & 6 pm**

Advanced Beginner & Intermediate Clinics

Need a refresher course? This 2 hour group clinic will help you broaden your skill base and gain confidence on the slopes. These clinics are tailored for those who can easily negotiate intermediate terrain, but would like to improve ability and technique. This program is ideal for adults and children. Minimum age of 7.

If individual attention is what you crave, take to the slopes with your own personal coach! All ages and abilities welcome. Ages 6 and under need their own instructor. Reservations required.

Massanutten's new youth program for skiers and snowboarders ages 4 - 6! The goal is to help young sliders learn to enjoy the sport. Mini Riders will explore movements on and off the snow to help develop the balance and coordination necessary for independent sliding. Program includes 4-Hour Slope-Use Ticket, Equipment Rentals & Helmet, and Instruction from 9 - 11 am.

Mountain Cruisers

Mountain Cruisers

Massanutten offers an exciting youth instructional program ranging from beginner to advanced levels of skiing and snowboarding for kids ages 7-12. Proof of age may be required.

Package Includes | 8-hour slope-use ticket, equipment & helmet rental, lunch, and supervised instruction (9:30 am to 2 pm).

Mountain Cruisers often fills up weeks in advance so reservations are required. To make reservations, please book online using the booking widget below or call 540.289.4921. Cancellations must be made by 2:30 pm the day prior to class to receive full credit. Absolutely no refunds are given after this time.

Enrollment | Monday – Friday 8:30 am - 9 am on the morning of the lesson. Saturday, Sunday & Holidays 8 am - 9 am on the morning of the lesson.

Reservations | Mountain Cruisers participants will be grouped by age and ability level. Please use the color system below to select the appropriate class for your child when making reservations. A credit card is required to make a reservation and will be charged at the time of reservation.

Choosing the correct skill level for your child's reservation is essential. If you are unsure of the correct class or don't see it available, please call the Mountain Cruisers desk so we can assist you. Reservations are available from December 15, 2018 - March 17, 2019. Class assignment, lunch choice, and equipment pick up will take place during enrollment in the Mountain Cruisers building. 
The opening and closing dates of the Ski Slopes are not yet set. All reservations that we are unable to fulfill will be refunded.
