Jeremiah Raines

Through school and church, I began playing lead roles as an actor and singer in musical theater as a child. I've been playing guitar for about 25 years and began learning guitar at age 16 in high school with 2 years of classical guitar class and jazz band class. Currently, I play many instruments with strings but also play drums and harmonica and am working on learning some horn instruments. I have played piano all my life but only became more serious about learning and playing it within the last 2 or 3 years.

Praise and worship have also played a role in my love for music as I am part of music bands at several churches and I have volunteered singing Christian music at retirement homes and senior centers. I organized several picking parties (bluegrass shows) to raise money for fire departments, rescue squads, a Christian bluegrass festival, as well as a benefit for my friend who's child had cancer.
